| Effective advertising
Through the advertising you are seeking to attract good quality candidates. Some of these may be unemployed or may be mothers seeking to return to work. But, it is most likely that the people you need to attract are in employment and are good at their jobs. You therefore have to give them compelling reasons to consider leaving their current job. To achieve this, your advert needs to project the promise of an interesting job with good conditions and prospects.
Consider the following two adverts placed by agencies on behalf of blue chip businesses:
Customer Service Executive
The ideal candidate will be customer focused, have an excellent telephone manner and interpersonal skills. You will be educated to ‘A’ level standard, be computer literate with experience of PC applications. Customer Service Representatives with previous experience, good standard of education and excellent keyboard skills.
